Toltec Mounds State Park

West of Bryant, among the vast farmland of Arkansas, a series of Indian burial mounds rise from the plains. These are the burial grounds of the Toltex Indian tribe. This site has attracted national interest for more than 100 years and became a National Historic Landmark in 1978.

The park provides walking tours of the area and provideds educational programs to teach visitors about the tribe and the artifacts that have been recovered.

Location: 30 miles west of Bryant on U.S. Higway 165.
