Arkansas Museum of Science and History

Founded in 1927, the Arkansas Museum of Science and History is the oldest museum in Greater Little Rock. The museum is housed in the Tower Building of the former Little Rock Arsenal (built in 1838) which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is the birthplace of General Douglas MacArthur. The museum offers live programs each weekend and family-oriented special events throughout the year.
