Lake Ouachita State Park

Located about 35 miles southwest of Bryant, Lake Ouachita State Park covers nearly half of Garland and Montgomery counties in the Ouachita Mountains. The lake has 975 miles of rugged shoreline which encompasses 48,000 acres of clean and inviting waters. It is recognized as one of Arkansas' superior fishing lakes, where bass, crappie, bream, catfish, rainbow trout, northern pike, and ocean stripers can be found.

Seven fully-equipped cabins surround the lake. There are 112 individual campsites, modern bathhouses, and two sanitary dumps. The park has a full service marina and provides fishing boats, motors, and party barges for rental.
