Philander Smith College

Philander Smith College, founded in 1877 in Little Rock, is a small, privately supported, historically black, four-year liberal arts, career oriented college, related to the Board of Higher Education and Ministry of the United Methodist Church. Philander Smith College comprises a campus of approximately 25 acres in the heart of Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas. All instructional, administrative and material resources of the College are directed toward providing an environment for progressive learning and meaningful experiences that are consistent with the high aims of the College. The College offers quality education through six major divisions:
